When many think of a Crumbl Cookie they think of a warm sugary cookie. But senior Kylee
Pudder thinks of getting Crumbl Cookies every week as the service coordinator for Spanish Honors Society.
This is just one of the many service projects Pudder does to get her service hours. Pudder gets an average of 80 to 100 service hours per semester.
On top of Pudder’s getting her service hours she does three sports including cross country, swimming and track. She is also a Full IB student and is at the top of her class.
Pudder gets 80 to 100 service hours per semester. She volunteers at her church every Sunday, helping with the children and doing Sunday school. She also does vacation bible school with the children. Another activity Pudder does is serve at a men’s homeless shelter every third Friday of the month to help serve hot dinner.
“ Having a kind heart makes a better person on the outside,” Pudder said in response to all of her service hours.
Pudder does three sports, cross country, swimming and track. Pudder’s main sports are cross country and track. She has been doing both cross country and track since the 7th grade. She started swimming freshman year of high school to fill the gap in between cross country and track.
“Go out and try it, it’s definitely frightening the first day but it’s definitely worth it and the worst thing that happens is you’re not the best at it but the experience is definitely worth it,” Pudder said.
In this year’s cross country season Pudder got hurt, which took out the entire season. But she made sure to follow through with her swim season. This year’s swim season was one of Pudder’s most successful with her making it to Districts in the 200 medley relay.
Pudder is now competing at the collegiate level in both cross country and track at Muskingum University.
Pudder is a top tier student in school. She is a full International Baccalaureate student. Pudder’s dedication to school has resulted in her to be fifth in her class overall. She has a full ride scholarship to Muskingum University. Where she is Majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Pudder wants to be a speech pathologist to continue her mission of service.
“I want to help with children speaking abilities after a stroke,” Pudder said
