Craft and vendor show

By Jessica Strange, Staff Writer — Warstler Elementary is having their second Craft and Vendor show on the 15th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school.

“Last year our PTO had a small vendor show in our gym and it was very successful. We wanted to build on that and make it bigger this year,” principal Mark Yocum said.

The show will be held in the schools gym and hallways. There will be over 50 vendors at the school.

“The vendors will be offering jewelry, hair accessories, primitive decor, sweets, Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef and many more,” Yocum said.

The school benefits from all the vendor’s rent money.

“The vendors rent their table space a $25 per table,” Yocum said.

All the money will go to the school’s Chromebook inventory and then for the schools risers for school performances.

This won’t be the school’s biggest fundraiser of the year but Yocum hopes it will.

“Not yet, but maybe it will pick up enough momentum in for the future,” Yocum said.
