Boston Upshaw (Jacob)

Why did you want to join the musical? “Last year I didn’t participate because I was overwhelmed, but I saw all the fun people had and the energy near performance times.” 

What role do you play? “The character Jacob (Joseph’s father ) feels like a challenge. I have to get into the mindset that this is a big figure written in the Bible. 

What has the hardest part of the musical been? “The hardest part is taking a new skill, and trying to act and get in character and dancing all together. Knowing where to be at all times.”What would you tell anyone about joining a musical in the future? “It’s gonna be a lot of fun, it might be stressful at first if you’re not used to it, but it’s been a blast for me and this is my first time ever doing something like this.”
